Why We Built a Global Talent Company: 10 Reasons We Looked Beyond Local Hiring.

We started as a recruiting company that hired locally. Client requests and our own experience led us to a wider talent pool and a new way to help growing businesses.

Easy Outsource Practical guide

People ask me why we did not just keep hiring locally. That is a fair question. We are a recruiting company, and local hiring is what we had always done. Opening in the Philippines and later looking at talent in more places was not the original plan. It grew out of what clients were asking for and what we tried ourselves.

These are the ten reasons we built Easy Outsource around global talent.

1. We tested the model with a recruiting team first.

We hired a recruiting team first and saw good results. That experience mattered. If it had not worked for us, we would not have kept building in this direction.

2. Our clients were asking for it.

There was a real need. Clients kept asking for ongoing support from skilled people, so we were responding to requests that already existed rather than inventing a service and hoping someone wanted it.

3. There is a much wider pool of capable people.

There are good people in many places, not only in the city where a company has an office. Looking beyond who can commute expands the pool of skills and experience available to a business.

4. We wanted smaller companies to access a model large companies already use.

I was surprised by how widely global outsourcing was already used by large companies. We wanted small and mid-sized businesses to have a practical way to access global talent too.

5. Many small businesses could not afford a traditional agency fee.

Some entrepreneurs and smaller companies needed help hiring but could not take on the cost of a conventional recruiting fee. They still needed capable people to move the work forward.

6. Clients wanted support with hiring overseas.

Clients wanted to meet strong candidates without having to figure out every cross-border detail on their own. They asked for help with recruiting, agreements, payroll coordination, and the practical work of getting someone started.

7. We began in the Philippines, then widened our search.

We started in the Philippines, where we found a deep talent pool and strong English communication. As clients' needs grew, we began looking in more places. The principle stayed the same: search for the right person, not just the nearest person.

8. The quality and communication impressed us.

We were impressed by the people we met. There is plenty of noise and assumption around offshore work, but interviewing qualified candidates showed us the skill and communication were there.

9. Global hiring can add capacity without the same local cost structure.

Many clients needed more capacity, but a full local hire did not fit their budget or workload. Global talent gave them another way to add skilled support while being thoughtful about overhead.

10. We already knew how to recruit.

We know how to write a role, interview, assess fit, and spot concerns. Easy Outsource became another way to help clients who needed someone working with their team over time, not only a one-time placement.

What we learned along the way

Hiring locally is not wrong. It simply is not the only answer. A larger talent pool also does not remove the work of finding the right person. You still need to review applications, interview, and make a careful choice. Our goal is to do that work well and help clients build teams that fit how they operate.
